A Rustling of Hands

In her work ‘A Rustling of Hands’/「指と服の囁き」(2025) for the World Expo Osaka, a fragmented sequence captures hands in the intimate act of dressing others. Hands that have over time created a quiet choreography through the repeated gestures of folding, wrapping and tightening. The work that is drawn on discarded bedlinen, invites the viewers to become aware of the time, care and knowledge involved in dressing the body.
